The Blanchard family are grateful no one was hurt when ice felling through the roof of their home.

The couple, living in Chino, California, said it wasn’t from an accumulation of snow, but rather ice that fell from an airplane.

They said they heard a loud noise late Saturday night and ventured outside to see what it could be. At first, they thought it was an explosion. It wasn’t until they went into their upstairs bathroom they found a hole in the ceiling, and chunks of ice in the bathtub.

Luckily, they said, no one was in the room at the time. The FAA is currently investigating the incident.
