Man arrested after Pasco deputy leaves gun in bathroom
NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - A man has been charged after a Pasco County deputy left his weapon in the bathroom of a New Port Richey Burger King restaurant.
Surveillance video released by the sheriff's office shows the man walking in front of the store around the time the deputy says he left the gun in the bathroom.
Deputies said 49-year-old David Haney was identified as the man who found the gun and took it from the bathroom.
Haney was arrested and charged with theft of a firearm.
