Missing child found safe
(FOX 13) - An AMBER Alert has been canceled for a 9-year-old Broward County girl and the 32-year-old woman she may be with.
Brianna Brown, a 9-year-old black female, was last seen in the 800th block of NW 1st Avenue in Hallandale Beach according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. She was last seen wearing a white dress with black horizontal stripes and a white cardigan. Brianna Brown is 4' 10" tall and weighs 75 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Brianna Brown may be with her biological mother, Daurianne Brown, a 32-year-old black female, who was last seen wearing black or gray pants, a black shirt, a gold headband, and carrying an oversized purse. Daurianne Brown is 5'5" tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
They may be in a white Toyota Camry.
Police say Brianna was at a church with her grandmother and legal guardian Saturday. The church is located at 816 NW 1 Ave in Hallandale Beach. Brianna’s biological mother, Daurianne Gordon Brown came to the church and began talking to Brianna. Several minutes later, Brianna and Daurianne left the church.
Police say Daurianne’s phone has been turned off and Brianna's grandmother has not heard from them. her grandmother believes Daurianne is upset because she lost custody of Brianna to her. She says Daurianne has a past of substance abuse.
