WESTON (FOX 13) - The father of a missing Tampa-area toddler says the boy's body has been found after an intense search outside the Broward County home of a relative.
Vihaan Pullamsetti's family was visiting relatives at an apartment complex Sunday afternoon when they realized the 18-month-old was missing.
Helicopters and bloodhounds were assisting with the search and divers were looking in a nearby canal -- until the search was halted this morning.
The Broward Sheriff's Office says a neighbor found a body in the canal this morning, and the boy's father told FOX 13 News that the body is his son.
He said he believes the boy wandered off during a moment when no one was looking. The family searched for the boy for about 20 minutes before calling 911.
