Motorcyclist dies in Polk County crash
AUBURNDALE (FOX 13) - A motorcyclist died in an accident that closed part of U.S. Highway 92 in Polk County Thursday.
According to the sheriff’s office, a crash involving a car and motorcycle happened at the intersection of Highway 92 and Jersey Road in the northwest Winter Haven - Auburndale area.
The driver of the motorcycle was later identified as 32-year-old Joshua Tibbs, of Lake Alfred.
He was taken to Winter Haven Hospital but did not survive.
