Motorcyclist hit by truck

TAMPA (FOX 13) - A crash left a Tampa motorcyclist critically injured this morning.
According to FHP, a semi-truck making a turn from Hillsborough Avenue onto 50th Street turned into the path of an oncoming motorcycle, hitting it. The motorcycle rider -- later identified as Jordan Eastman Naugle, 26 -- suffered critical injuries and was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was not wearing a helmet, the accident report noted.
Meanwhile, troopers say charges are pending against the truck's driver, Armando Pereira of Cape Coral.
