Motorcyclist injured in Sarasota crash

SARASOTA, Fla. - A motorcyclist was injured following a Wednesday morning crash in Sarasota.

The crash occurred between a vehicle and motorcycle in the eastbound lanes of Fruitville Road at Midway Parkway. 

Some lanes were closed following the crash, but all have since reopened. 

Information on the extent of injuries were not provided. The events leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
