Motorcyclist shot on Howard Frankland Bridge in possible road rage incident
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Tampa police are investigating reports of a possible road rage shooting on a Bay Area bridge.
It happened around 9:45 p.m. Monday in the northbound lanes on the Howard Frankland Bridge near the Kennedy Boulevard exit.
Police say a driver in an unknown SUV shot at a group of motorcyclists. One motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.
The driver of the SUV has not been caught.
Some northbound lanes were closed on the bridge during the investigation.
