With Hurricane Irma gone, the only other named storm out in the Atlantic Ocean is Hurricane Jose.

However, it is not projected to even touch Florida, let alone United States. FOX 13’s meteorologist Dave Osterberg said Jose has been pin wheeling around the Atlantic Ocean for a while. Its current track is set to run east and then back to the northwest.

“It is not headed to our state,” Osterberg said. “None of the computer models, at this point, have it headed toward our state. Put your mind at ease.”

the NHC said its maximum sustained winds is near 75 mph. There is some additional weakening possible in the coming days, and Jose could become to a tropical storm on Tuesday.
