Pasco County firefighters rescue woman from house fire
NEW PORT RICHEY (FOX 13) - A woman was rescued by firefighters after a fire broke out inside a New Port Richey home.
Pasco County firefighters responded to the home at 6973 Alken Circle and noticed heavy smoke was visible.
Fire officials say the home was occupied by three adult female residents. Two escaped, but the third was found by fire crews, removed from the home and transported to a nearby hospital. The extent of her injuries are not known.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
