Pasco SO: Man trashes motorcyle shop, stabs owner
HUDSON (FOX 13) - Deputies in Pasco County said a Hudson man trashed a motorcycle shop and stabbed the owner.
According to authorities, it all started around 11:00 a.m. Sunday when 27-year-old William Engle met with his ex-girlfriend at the 7-11 on County Line Road and U.S. Highway 19 for a child custody issue.
Deputies say Engle's boss, the owner of Action Honda, was present at the meeting and witnessed an argument between Engle and his ex-girlfriend. During the argument, authorities say Engle tried to slash his ex-girlfriend's tires. The boss intervened and Engle cut him on the hand and across the stomach. We're told the cuts were minor injuries and Engle's boss did not need to go to the hospital.
After that, deputies say Engle left the 7-11 and went to Action Honda, where his car was parked. He then allegedly used his car to ram both glass showroom doors of the business causing more than $75,000 worth of damage.
Deputies said Engle is facing charges including aggravated battery, criminal trespass and business burglary. His grandfather turned him in at the Pasco County jail early Monday morning.
