Pedestrian hit by vehicle near Nebraska Ave, Tampa
TAMPA (FOX 13) - A pedestrian was hit and taken to the hospital Friday evening.
The Tampa Police Department said it happened at Nebraska Avenue North and Sligh Avenue East. The pedestrian was taken to Tampa General Hospital as a Trauma Alert.
TPD said all southbound lanes of Nebraska Avenue were closed at Sligh Avenue as of 7:20 p.m. Friday. Motorists were urged to use Florida Avenue as an alternate.
