Permanent Disney shop will open inside Target store in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. (FOX 13) - Disney shops will be opening up in Targets across the U.S., and one of those will be right in Clearwater.
Over the weekend, the popular retail chain announced a collaboration with The Walt Disney Co. There will be 25 Disney-branded stores opening on October 4 inside Target stores across the country, with 40 additional locations opening by October 2020.
One of those magical stores will be found inside a Clearwater Target, located at 2747 Gulf to Bay Boulevard.
Target will also launch a Disney-focused online experience on its site on Sunday, as well as a new store near the entrance of the Walt Disney World Resort in 2021.
The moves, made public officially Sunday, come as Target is looking to build on its strong sales streak. Last week, the discounter raised its annual profit expectations after reporting strong second-quarter profits and sales. The discounter has been sprucing up its stores with new brands and displays.
