A couple of alleged thieves were caught on camera swiping pricey perfume bottles from the Ulta store in Seminole this month.

Pinellas County deputies tell FOX 13 they believe the women are part of an ongoing theft ring.

“If you look at the video, it’s pretty brazen how they did it,” said Cpl. Dan Difrancesco.

Deputies believe they’ve stolen from stores across the state, dating back to at least October.

The locations include Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Sarasota, Lakeland, Wesley Chapel, and Seminole.

“We're not talking about a misdemeanor shoplifting. We're talking about possibly something that would rise to the level of an organized ring of thieves,” Cpl. Difrancesco said.

They’ve already racked up several thousands of dollars in products - enough to reach the felony level.

“I think it’s awful especially during Christmas time,” shopper Debra Kamajian said.
