Police investigating crash that spilled fuel along Hillsborough Avenue
A crash spilled fuel along Hillsborough Avenue Monday morning, closing a portion of the roadway.
TAMPA, Fla. - A portion of Hillsborough Avenue was closed Monday morning after diesel fuel spilled along the eastbound lanes following a crash between a box truck and a vehicle just west of I-275.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the lanes reopened around 8 a.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
