Police: Tire thief may have had prosthetic leg
CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - Police are hoping you can help them track down a tire thief who may have an unusual identifying feature.
According to Clearwater police, a man swiped a tractor tire from the Anytime Fitness location on Highland Avenue back on May 26. They say he cut through a cable lock and rolled the giant tire to his car, then left.
Police describe the man as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, weighing about 180 pounds and standing 5-foot-11. He was wearing a red t-shirt and black shorts.
Police also say he appears to have a prosthetic left leg.
If caught, he'll face a grand theft charge.
