Warning! Do not try this at home!

A prank video that claims to show users how to modify their new iPhone 7 and install a headphone jack doesn’t have everyone laughing. (WATCH THE VIDEO)

The gag video was posted to YouTube over the weekend and shows a mock tutorial video that involves using a drill to create a hole on the bottom of an iPhone 7.

At one point in the video when the phone's screen starts to flash uncontrollably, the video's narrator says, "This is perfectly normal. This means you are on your way to getting a brand new headphone jack."

Some user comments posted to the YouTube page suggest not everyone was in on the joke. One user wrote, "Something's wrong, or I made a mistake.... This didn't work with my iPhone.. And I think I might have ruined it.. :("

Another posted, "Uhhh I have a problem. My phone won't turn on and the head phone jack didn't work. Someone please tell me what to do."

The new iPhone 7 is the first model not to have a headphone jack. Users can use headphones by using an adapter or by using wireless headphone.
