RECALL: Beef meatballs by Rich Products
Rich Products is recalling more than 3,400 pounds of beef meatballs that could be contaminated with listeria.
The recall affects Member's Mark Casa Di Bertacchi Italian-style frozen meatball with a "Best if Used By" date of December 17, 2018.
The meatballs were shipped to distributors in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
The company said the problem was discovered on Jan. 24, 2018 when they received information that an adulterated product was shipped.
Anyone who has the products should not eat them, and should throw them away or return it to the place of purchase.
