A reward is being offered for information about who left four sick puppies across the street from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

In a Facebook live video, HSTB's Sherry Slid explained that the puppies likely had manage or scabies, but would need to be checked by a vet to confirm their conditions.

The golden-colored pups were left at the corner of W Leroy Street and N Howard Avenue around 9:45 Thursday morning.

HSTB is offering $1,000 to anyone who can identify the puppy dumper.

Slid was baffled by why someone would drop puppies right next to the Humane Society.

"You can come in and bring your animals here. You don't dump them next to a busy road in this type of condition. You don't dump animals at all," she said.

Slid said the puppies would be checked and treated, and hopefully would be ready for adoption soon.

Anyone with information about the person who dumped the puppies is asked to call HSTB at 813-876-7138, extension 0.
