Riverview man killed in motorcycle crash
RIVERVIEW (FOX 13) - Deputies in Hillsborough County say a Riverview man has died in a motorcycle crash.
It happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. at Big Bend Road on the on-ramp to I-75 southbound. Authorities say the driver of a 2010 Toyota turned onto the ramp in front of a motorcyclist, Fortino Ralph Garcia III. He crashed into the side of the Toyota.
Deputies say Garcia was wearing a helmet. Paramedics rushed him to Tampa General Hospital, but he did not survive.
It does not appear that alcohol was a factor in the crash. So far, no charges have been filed.
