Road collapses near Anchorage airport following earthquake

Some video is beginning to emerge from areas around Anchorage, Alaska where an earthquake hit, registering magnitude 7 November 30.

Footage shared on Twitter by Sarah M shows a road that has completely collapsed, with a vehicle seemingly stuck in the middle part of the damage.

Sarah said the video was recorded by her father. She said it was taken at the exit ramp from W International Airport Road to Minnesota Drive, just east of the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and southeast of an area called Earthquake Park.

It was not immediately known if anyone was injured when the portion of the roadway collapsed. 

The quake was centered about eight miles north of Anchorage, according to the US Geological Survey.
