Robber hit by clerk with milk crate before fleeing
SEFFNER (FOX 13) - A man with a plastic bag on his head and a blanket wrapped around his arm robbed the Circle K on Highway 579 April 27, and deputies hope someone knows who he is.
It happened around 3:10 a.m. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said the white male suspect told a clerk to give him money from the register, then went behind the counter.
He hit the female clerk multiple times in the head. She hit him back with a milk crate, creating a cut on his forehead.
He took packs of cigarettes and money before running off.
The suspect was described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old. He had a thin build, short brown hair, and wore a black t-shirt and blue jeans. He would likely still have evidence of a cut above his right eyebrow.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
