Santa skydiver crashes at Gulfport volleyball tournament

GULFPORT (FOX 13) - Onlookers gasped as a skydiver dressed as Santa crashed into a tree and a light post on Saturday.

Officials say George Krokus was skydiving into a volleyball tournament in Gulfport when something went terribly wrong.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital. Dominic Nelson of St. Petersburg and the Beach Bums Volleyball Tournament said, “Kris Kringle suffered a broken leg, is in good spirits and expects to have no delay in Christmas deliveries.”

According to friends, Krokus has a broken leg but is expected to make a full recovery.
