Sarasota deputies look for Chick-Fil-A armed robber
SARASOTA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Surveillance video shows a gunman rob a Sarasota Chick-Fil-A late Friday. Now, deputies are hoping you can help them identify the suspect.
According to the sheriff’s office, it was just after 10 p.m. when the man walked through the door of the Fruitville Road location, carrying a black backpack and waving a silver-colored semi-automatic pistol. He demanded money from the employees; the footage shows him waving the gun around as he orders them to empty the safe.
The gunman then fled on foot. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old and 6 feet tall, with a slim build and slight facial hair. He was seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark pants, and a black cap with the Superman “S” logo on the front. A yellow bandana covered his face, and he was wearing black gloves.
