Second Presidential Debate: The last question was everything
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - On a night filled with negative banter and downright nastiness, one guy found a way to turn the tone of the second presidential debate around. Karl Becker got the microphone for the last question of the night, and then everything changed.
In a question directed at both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton-- who didn't shake hands at the start of the debate-- Becker asked this: "Regardless of the current rhetoric, would either of you name one positive thing that you respect in one another?"
