Sex offender arrested again after exposing himself to students: CCSO

A registered sex offender is back behind bars after students told Citrus County deputies he exposed himself to them, the sheriff's office said Friday.

What we know:

According to CCSO, several students reported seeing a man exposing himself inside a car as they rode the bus home from school on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

An anonymous tip from one student on FortifyFL – a tool for reporting suspicious activity – included videos of the man exposing himself, along with the car he was driving and its tag number.

Detectives identified Freddy Parisi, 36, as the man in the videos.

Investigators arrested Parisi on Thursday, Jan. 16, on five counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition.

He's being held in the Citrus County Jail without bond, according to the sheriff's office.

What we don't know:

Investigators did not release which school the students attend or the location of the reported incident.

Records from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement show that Parisi previously served a 10-year prison sentence for two counts of sexual battery on a victim under 12 and one count of lewd and lascivious conduct.
