Skimming devices found at Ybor City SunTrust Bank ATMs

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Tampa police say they've found two skimming devices at SunTrust Bank ATMs in Ybor City. 

Officers are warning customers to keep a close eye on their account activity as they work to bring in the suspect. 

On September 1, police say two skimmers were found at the SunTrust ATMs located at 1701 E. 7th Ave in Ybor City.

Investigators say the skimmers were placed by a man seen on the machine's security cameras. 

The man was wearing a dark, floppy hat and a dark t-shirt. 

Police say the suspect came back after placing the devices to test them.  

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case. 

Police remind everyone to check balances and transaction histories often. If there is a discrepancy, contact the banking institution as soon as possible.
