St. Petersburg police investigating deadly hit-and-run
ST. PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - The St. Petersburg Police Department is looking for the person responsible for a deadly hit and run.
It happened Monday around 9:30 P.M. at the intersection of 20th Avenue S and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street S.
Police say a pedestrian was crossing the street when the person -- as yet unidentified -- was hit and killed by a SUV. That SUV kept driving and the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.
Police are still looking for that vehicle, described as a dark-colored, blue or black SUV.
