Arts Legacy Remix program at the Straz

Arts Legacy Remix is a grassroots undertaking that demonstrates how The Straz continues to discover new and innovative ways to create and present art that is entertaining, accessible, empowering and inspiring.

TAMPA, Fla. - The Arts Legacy Remix is returning to the Tampa Riverwalk on November 19 for the first time since the spring.

The free cultural celebration features performances by local artists inspired by the Bay Area’s diversity.

The events are organized by the Straz Center and typically incorporate live music, dance and other various art forms based on the day's theme.

  • Friday, Nov. 19 - Voices of The African Diaspora
  • Friday, Jan. 14 - Echoes from the Mountain Top
  • Friday, Feb. 18 - A Celebration of Italy
  • Friday, March 11 - Asian Culture Celebration
  • Friday, April 29 - India’s New Year Celebration
  • Sunday, June 19 - Second Annual Juneteenth Commemoration
