TAMPA (FOX 13) - Special Olympics Florida-Hillsborough County is gearing up for its biggest fundraiser of the year this Friday.
Whether you want to support Bay Area special Olympic athletes or you simply enjoy blackjack, Jack by the Bay is an event you're sure to enjoy.
The main event is a blackjack tournament with prizes and a raffle. There will also be music, an open bar, signature cocktails, and Tampa-inspired food. The blackjack tournament starts with $1,000 in "funny money" and the winner received the grand prize.
FOX 13 Good Day anchor Walter Allen will emcee Jack by the Bay along with his wife, Natalie Taylor. Tampa Bay Rays legend Orestes Destrade and radio DJ Drew Garabo also will make appearances.
The Cuban-themed event will take place at the Tampa Garden Club on Bayshore Boulevard from 7-10 p.m. Friday, October 19. Tickets are $100.
