The Tampa Bay Rays are doing something special to thank the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country.

They're offering free home game tickets to active duty military, retired and honorably discharged veterans and their families through a promotion called the “Rays Honor Pass”.

For the rest of the season, they say those who qualify for the pass will be given two free tickets to as many of the remaining home games as they would like.

Military personnel can qualify for an Honor Pass by doing the following:

  • Verify Troop ID by clicking here.
  • Copy unique code, click continue to Tampa Bay Rays, and paste unique code in Verification Password box. Click submit to access Honor Pass application.
  • Complete and submit Honor Pass application online.
  • Pick up Honor Pass. Show a photo ID at the dedicated window at the Tropicana Field Gate 1 Box Office.

The promotion will help fill the seats at Tropicana Field, something the Rays have had trouble with this season.

They're currently ranked last in Major League Baseball for home attendance, averaging less than 15,000 fans per game.
