Tampa mommy blogger names top 5 favorite family-friendly activities
TAMPA, Fla. - Marisa Langford just might be Tampa’s first mommy blogger.
Seventeen years ago, she started posting photos of her baby boy online so her parents back in Chicago could see him, and that’s how the Tampa Mama blog was born. Almost two decades later, her blog has morphed into a go-to parent guide for all things Tampa Bay.
"I love to connect with parents and just hope they love this city as much as I do," Langford said.
FOX 13 asked Marisa to compile a list of her top 5 family-friendly activities around Tampa Bay. Here’s the list in random order:
- Canoeing the Hillsborough River with Canoe Escape
- Renting an eBoat in downtown Tampa
- Taking a TECO streetcar from downtown to the Columbia Restaurant
- Taking in Hyde Park Village
- Spend a day at Pass-a-Grille beach
"The five spots that I picked really give someone a great taste of what Tampa Bay is really like. It’s just such a great place to raise a family," Langford shared.
