Tampa police investigating deadly pedestrian crash

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa police said a fatal crash occurred Friday morning that shut down a roadway for a couple of hours.
The crash occurred along West Martin Luther King Boulevard around 6:40 a.m. It's unclear whether the driver or the pedestrian passed away.
The roadway was closed between North Habana Avenue and North MacDill Avenue, but reopened around 9 a.m.
The events leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
