Tampa ranks 12th in America's most 'Sinful Cities'
TAMPA, Fla. - Out of 150 of the most populated cities across the United States, Tampa ranks the 12th most sinful city, according to WalletHub.
The "data crunchers" put together the list based on violent crimes per capita, excessive drinking, potential cheaters, adult-entertainment establishments, Tinder users, obese adults, and a variety of other transgressions.
Each of the "sins" are placed under categories like "Lust," "Laziness," and "Vanity," and are given metrics, and then the data crunchers gave each city an overall score.
Overall, Tampa ranked 12th. Under each individual category, Tampa ranked number four in the area of "lust," with the fourth most adult-entertainment establishments per capita, along with Atlanta, Vegas, and Hawaii.
Other Florida cities to make the top 10 overall list were Orlando (4) and Miami (6).
The number 1 city on the list was, not surprisingly, Las Vegas, followed by St. Louis, Missouri and Cincinnati, Ohio.
