A trio of very determined delinquents were caught on camera attempting to break into a Hillsborough High School by repeatedly bashing glass windows and doors.

Investigators need your help identifying the vandals.

Steinbrenner High may the home of the Warriors, but it was the building that went to battle the weekend after Thanksgiving.

A surveillance camera sitting right above a side entrance to the school captured the entire 20-minute attack.

“When you look at this video the first thing you want to do is just completely shake your head,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Corporal Larry McKinnon.

It was around 3:30 a.m. when the car pulls up.  One by one, you see the three men in the video try hitting and kicking the glass. When it doesn’t shatter, they don’t give up.

“They went through every single thing that they could find in their car to get into the school,” McKinnon said.

Focused on getting inside the building, the trio was incredibly persistent.  They used an American flag, a bicycle wheel and seat post, and a metal bar on the doors and windows.  They even smashed cans of beer against the glass.

“It almost became comical watching them,” said McKinnon.

Their determination may be funny, but the Sheriff’s Office is taking it very seriously.

The doors and windows took a heavy beating.  The glass has dents and deep cracks spider-webbing across it.  The school district tells FOX 13 News it’s about $2,500.00 to replace all six panes.

“They obviously did not realize that we have very strong windows and doors and that we’re doing everything we can to keep the items in those classrooms safe,” said Hillsborough County Public Schools Spokesperson, Tanya Arja.

In fact, the high school is used as a hurricane shelter, rated to withstand a category 3 storm.

It’s safe to say these vandals lost the fight, and investigators want it to be their last stand.

We’re hoping that somebody from the public can identify them and call us,” McKinnon said.  “And they’ll certainly go to jail when we find them.”

The Sheriff’s Office says the trio were driving a four-door, white sedan, possibly a BMW.  Here are the suspect descriptions:
