Three teenagers were arrested for stealing motorcycles after a tip from one of their mothers, deputies say.

All three are 16 years old, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. One of their mothers recognized him in surveillance video shared by investigators looking into a stolen motorcycle within the county.

Deputies say the teen confessed to being involved with two thefts.

Her son also provided information that another stolen vehicle was inside a shed where another teen suspect lived.

Deputies say the motorcycle was found and the second teenager confessed to being involved in the theft.

While deputies were conducting surveillance of his home, they saw another stolen motorcycle driving by. They said they tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the third teen suspect fled.

The air service unit directed deputies to his home, where he was arrested. The stolen motorcycle was found in his home, they said.
