Two-alarm house fire displaces 7 in Holiday

Pasco County Fire Rescue says seven people are being helped by the Red Cross after their home was destroyed in a 2-alarm fire Saturday.

Crews got to the burning home in the 4100 Block of Oakfield Ave just before 4:30 p.m.

They quickly realized the severity of the fire and called in a second alarm.

One adult and two children were in the home when the fire started. They were able to escape. 

It took firefighters 30 minutes to get the fire under control. 

A car in the driveway was also badly damaged by the fire.

The American Red Cross is assisting three adults and four children from the home. 

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation by Pasco County Fire Investigators.
