Veterans head to DC on final Honor Flight of 2015
CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - The final Honor Flight of 2015 took off for Washington D.C. this morning with 80 of our nation's heroes on board.
Upon landing, the veterans and their guardians will visit several monuments and memorials in the U.S. Capital before they return home to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport tonight around 8:30 p.m.
The tradition is an all-expenses-paid tour designed to honor our nation's WWII, Korean and Viet Nam veterans, put on by Honor Flight of West Central Florida.
