Walt Disney Company donates $1M to OneOrlando Fund

LAKE BUENA VISTA (FOX 13) - The Walt Disney Company announced Tuesday it would give $1 million to the OneOrlando Fund, established Monday by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to help people impacted by the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Disney said it will also match eligible employee donations to the fund as part of the Disney Employee Matching Gifts: A Program of The Walt Disney Company Foundation.

Walt Disney World Resort said it has been working with Central Florida agencies and leaders to give support to those in need. In coordination with OneBlood, Cast Members and other employees working at Walt Disney World Resort wishing to donate blood to help victims may donate at five designated locations across the resort property.
Through an effort led by the City of Orlando and the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association, Walt Disney World Resort was also giving free accommodations for the families and friends of the victims.
