WATCH: Bobcat snatches salmon out of river

OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, Wash. - A park ranger captured a bobcat's big appetite and quick reflexes on camera in Washington state.

The video from Olympic National Park shows the cat stalking a salmon swimming up stream in the park.

As the fish splashes through the water, the cat darts across to yank it out, then he struts off with his morning breakfast.

The video was captured by park ranger Lee, who said in a Facebook post, "You never know what you might come across, even on a quiet snowy morning."
