Fionoa, the premature hippo born at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, has been reunited with her mom in the same space since she was born in January six weeks early.

The zoo released video showing Fiona and her mother, Bibi, together and Fiona licking her and giving her hippo kisses.

The two were closely supervised during the visit, with two points of exit for Fiona's safety just in case.

Last month, Fiona was reintroduced with her mother and father, Henry, though there were partitions between them. The zoo has since slowly moved away the partitions as they became more familiar with each other.

Fiona was born six weeks early at just 29 pounds, and a team from the zoo has been caring for her since her birth.
