WATCH: Gator found inside Louisiana home
STERLINGTON, La. - A Louisiana man found an expected guest in his living room Tuesday morning.
David Bradford said he saw something waving at him, but when he got a little closer, it turned out to be an alligator's tail moving. Bradford said he's never seen an alligator that big and certainly never one as big as that in his house. "I got a little bit closer and said, 'What in the devil is that?'" said Bradford.
He called in alligator hunter Jeromy Pruitt for help.
Pruitt said the alligator was hissing and seemed pretty upset about being taken out of the house. The home is under construction, and video shows the alligator being roped and dragged out of the home.
Pruitt said the alligator was likely looking for a female companion during mating season and took refuge in Bradford's home.
