DAVENPORT (FOX 13) - Drivers on I-4 during the rush hour commute Friday morning witnessed a rare sight, as a hot air balloon full of people made an emergency landing in the median.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it happened around 8:30 a.m. near mile marker 54, just west of the Polk/Osceola County line.
The balloon had to land, they said, because there was dense fog in the area and they were low on fuel.
All passengers, including a young boy, are said to be OK.
