Watch: Rock-tossing suspect breaks into phone store
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Police in Tampa are hoping you can help them identify the rock-tossing burglar seen on video smashing into a phone store last week.
According to Tampa police, it was just before 5 a.m. last Thursday when the suspect used a large rock to punch a large hole in the glass door of the Boost Mobile store on Nebraska Avenue. Once inside, the burglar used the same rock to smash display cases.
The suspect grabbed phones, Bluetooth speakers and cash from the register, then fled the store.
The suspect was wearing a light-colored Nike sweatshirt, dark pants, shoes, gloves, and has facial hair.
