Woman births baby still inside amniotic sac (NSFW photos)

Doctors at Cedars-Sinai hospital in California say a miracle baby delivered while still inside an intact amniotic sac is doing well.

FOX 13 talked to a spokeswoman with the hospital Wednesday. The photos are credited to the hospital. 

The boy's name is Silas Johnson, and doctors were shocked when he came out fully enclosed in the sac.

CBS News in Los Angeles reports that the baby was born via C-section at just 26 weeks. It was still getting oxygen through the placenta.

Before puncturing the sac and removing the child, a doctor at the hospital took the amazing photo.

Little Silas was born in early December. He's now home with his family, and the mother is also doing very well.
