Tropical Storm Fiona forms, aiming for Puerto Rico this weekend

Meteorologist Jim Weber says Tropical Storm Fiona is getting better defined but it?s still battling wind shear and dry air. At the moment, it's tracking toward the Virgin Islands. It will eventually turn north, but it?s still uncertain when that will occur.

Tropical Depression 7 forms east of Caribbean, long-range forecast not set in stone

A new tropical depression has now formed in the Atlantic and will strengthen as it moves toward the northeastern Caribbean islands and Puerto Rico late this week and into the weekend.

FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says there is a tropical system coming off the coast of Africa that has a 20% chance of developing over the next five days. Fiona would be the next named storm, but Sadiku says there are no signs of the happening anytime soon.
