It?s been an active start to September in the tropics with two named systems, Danielle and Earl, in the Atlantic. Danielle has regained hurricane strength, while Earl remains a tropical storm. FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says he is also watching a third system that just formed off the coast of Africa that may have a 20% shot of developing over the next five days. However, Sadiku says none of the storms pose a threat to the United States.

After weeks of no named storms in the tropics, there are now two in the Atlantic- Danielle and Earl. Danielle has been downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm and FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says she is losing some convection and is not expected to hit the United States. He is closely watching Tropical Storm Earl, which developed late Friday night as it moves north and west. However, like Danielle, it is not expected to impact the U.S.
