An amazing photograph shows three active hurricanes in the Pacific Ocean surrounding the island of Hawaii.

Taken on August 31 by NOAA's GOES West satellite, the photo shows Hurricane Kilo around 1,220 miles west of Honolulu, Hawaii. Hurricane Ignacio is seen around 315 miles east of Hilo.  And Hurricane Jimena is the furthest away at around 1,425 miles east of Hilo.

The weakening Hurricane Ignacio moved closer to Hawaii with 100 mph winds.

Ignacio is a Category 2 hurricane, but Hawaii has missed the brunt of the storm.

After Ignacio passes, Hurricane Jimena, a Category 4 storm, will arrive. Forecasters expect it to begin weakening as it approaches Hawaii.
