Metal art school hosting unique, power tool racing event

CLEARWATER (FOX 13) - At one Clearwater school, you can learn to create art out of metal.

At Chin Whiskers Metal School, you can take classes to do so. They even have a unique event coming up: Power Tool Races.

They take a power tool, connect it to a homemade chassis with wheels, plug it into a 50-foot extension cord and race it down a 75-foot wooden track. They are doing this to raise money for 50Legs.org, an organization that helps amputees get prosthetics.
