1 horse, 1 person killed in Mulberry crash, deputies say

MULBERRY, Fla. - Polk County deputies are investigating a deadly crash involving a horse.

They said the horse and one of the people inside the vehicle have passed away. The collision occurred on Anderson Road.

Deputies closed the roadway between Nichols Road and County Road 640, but it later reopened to traffic.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
